Public Works Worker (Full Time)
The City of Olivia is accepting applications for a full-time public works worker position. Position duties include street maintenance and repair, snow plowing and removal, park maintenance, upkeep of public buildings and facilities, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must have a valid MN Class B driver’s license and be able to be licensed in tree and turf maintenance in a reasonable period of time. One or more years of maintenance or construction experience is required; and previous public works experience and trade school or other post-secondary education preferred.

Park Maintenance (Seasonal)
The City of Olivia is accepting applications for summer seasonal park maintenance workers. The position involves 40 hours per week, assisting the Public Works Supervisor perform maintenance duties including mowing, cleaning of park areas, equipment maintenance and other projects as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the position include a valid Class D Minnesota driver’s license and the capability of performing the physical tasks of the job (including but not limited to standing / walking for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, operating various park maintenance tools and equipment, etc.).
