The city owns and maintains three Civil Defense Sirens, and is enrolled in CodeRED.

The Sirens are used to indicate a local emergency or weather related incident.  Citizens are advised immediately to tune into local radio stations (K100 KOLV 100.1 FM or Q102 KQIC 102.5 FM) for further information.

The sirens are tested the first Wednesday of each month.
