In an emergency council meeting on 3/27/2020, the Olivia City Council has approved Resolution 2020-29, A Resolution Temporarily Postponing Late Fees and Disconnects Due to the COVID-19 Emergency. Under this resolution, all late fees for City of Olivia residents and businesses shall be suspended until May 21st, 2020 and all utility disconnects due to non-payment shall be suspended until June 2nd, 2020.

We hope that this will give residents and business owners time to arrange payment, or apply for assistance without penalty. If you have continued income, you should continue to pay bills as you normally would as utility bills will not be forgiven. If you cannot continue to pay your bills, we would encourage you to stay in contact with the city office as to your plans, so that we can aid in referring you to agencies that may be able to provide assistance.
